Figueroa has pled guilty to Criminal Tax Fraud in the 4th Degree in one case involving the sale of dependents’ information for use in fraudulent tax returns.  He also faces Grand Larceny in the 2nd Degree and Criminal Tax Fraud in the 2nd Degree, accused of filing at least 100 false personal income tax returns using the social security numbers and names of children from Puerto Rico for use as dependents, taking a cut of more than $100,000 gained from the false returns.
