ENRIQUE FIGUEROA Tax preparer Figueroa to be sentenced on numerous felonies including Grand Larceny and Criminal Tax Fraud.  He filed false returns for the years 2011, 2012, and 2013, often using stolen Social Security numbers and the names of unwitting children from Puerto Rico to claim them as dependents.

Rivera was convicted of Assault in the 1st Degree in the violent knife attack against a fellow crack user in August 2012.  The BXDA will move to have him sentenced as a discretionary persistent felon – this was his third violent felony (and sixth felony overall) – which will see him sentenced at a higher level.

KEVIN BYNUM

Bynum pled guilty to Assault 1 for a July 2012 incident in Woodlawn, in which he hit a young woman with a slab of concrete.  Alisha Jordan, the Captain of the Women’s Gaelic Football League, suffered a fractured nose and broken orbital and cheek bones.  Jordan has returned from Ireland in order to present a victim impact statement.   Bynum is scheduled to be sentenced to 8 years incarceration followed by 5 years post-release supervision.

Please note: All court proceedings are scheduled for after 9:30 a.m. at 265 East 161st Street, the Hall of Justice, Bronx Supreme Court unless otherwise specified.
